2.5kW of Tracked Solar with Battery Backup
One of our first projects in 2007 was this Grid-Tied System with Battery Back Up. Twelve 210 Watt panels are mounted on a Dual Axis Array Tech Tracker. The Balance of System includes an Outback 60 Amp Charge Controller, Outback Flexware AC/DC Power Center and 8 L-16 6-Volt, 350 AH for a 48 volt nominal system.
Later, the customer upgraded the system, adding 3.6 more kilowatts of roof mounted solar panels and an 80 amp Charge Controller.
