12V / 1000 Watt Inverter / 400 Watt Solar Kit


This Emergency Preparedness Kit combines quality Victron Energy components with Renogy solar panels for a robust system. This would be a good fit for those with minimal electric loads such as running lights, electronics, an efficient refrigerator, microwave, and charging personal devices, keeping in mind that in an Off-Grid setting you may not be able to run everything simultaneously. We have tested and lived with this type of kit for a month during the winter of 2019 when we were upgrading to new homestead system batteries.


Kit includes most of the essentials to get you up and running:


(1) 12V/1200VA Phoenix Inverter with VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle to monitor your inverter.

(1) SmartSolar 100/50A MPT Charge Controller

(1) Smart Battery Sense - long range to monitor your battery's voltage and send temperature information to your MPPT Solar Charge Controller for temperature compensation, which will increase the life of your battery.

(1) Victron Energy 12V 170Ah AGM SuperCycle Battery

(1) Set of Inverter to Battery Cables #2 AWG (10’ each positive and negative)

(1) Set of MPPT to Battery Cables #6 AWG (5’ each positive and negative)

(4) Renogy 100D-SS 100W Monocrystalline solar panels (Compact Design)

(1) Renogy Solar Panel to Charge Controller Adaptor kit - includes 30’ each male/female PV cables - 10 AWG.
