Helping out at the Red Cloud Renewable Energy Center

On Thursday April 11th, Marc drove up to the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota in our work truck (Big Blue) wearing his new favorite blue and orange Victron hat. He met up with Henry Red Cloud that morning outside the Red Cloud Renewable Energy Center which is about an hour’s drive north of us. He helped out with the flood cleanup and transported for them a donated emergency power trailer (from a nonprofit in Vermont), outfitted with solar energy equipment, to Henry's site from the town of Pine Ridge (see pic).

​The flood was a result of rapid melting from the massive snow fall that was dropped from the blizzard, also referred to as a bomb cyclone by some of the weather channels.  The blizzard went through our area while we were in Miami at the Training Camp last month.
